The Galveston County Bar Association (GCBA) was founded in 1846 as a voluntary association of lawyers in Galveston County.
The GCBA is dedicated to:
* advancing the professionalism and legal skills of lawyers,
* promoting the interests of the legal profession,
* providing services to its members,
* providing service to the community.
